Public Land Hunting Huts

The Kiwi Classic Hunt takes place on public land, based out of hunting huts such as the one pictured at right, with Don Cameron of Pure NZ Hunting.

The huts are very simple, with no running water or electricity, but they're very comfortable, and more importantly are located right in the middle of the prime hunting area.

Your entire stay is not typically in a hut environment however. As you transfer in between hunting areas, there will be a few nights where you'll stay at a local bed and breakfast where you can get a hot shower and charge up the batteries on your camera.
