Bull Tahr with 13″ Horns – Lake Hawea
Martin Mason of Denmark optimised his wilderness hunt taking two nine year old bull tahr and one nice chamois. The biggest bull carried extremely heavy horns over 13 inches in length, with 10 inch bases. The body size of this animal is massive, only the western side of the Southern Alps has the appropriate feed to grow animals so big. This bull would have been interesting to hang up on the scales, estimated to be in access of 350 pounds. Note Martins second bull also nine years old, but a lot smaller in horn and body size. Great value wilderness hunting with no trophy fees. At Lake Hawea Hunting Safaris we’re having our busiest season yet, with many outfitters well back on client numbers for the 2nd year in a row, our dedication to free-range hunting and our clients is now showing through.

Excellent website: Do you agree that one of the greatest spotting scopes on the market is a Kowa spotting scope . I am looking for some input on what to buy. Thanks again!
Very good post. Hope to see more excellent posts in the future.
I have been visiting Sunspots website regular so i do not miss anything for I am planning a NZ hunt. I am a budget hunter and this site (packages) will serve me well.
